Kroger’s Easter candy sales reveal Peeps not among the top sellers in Indiana and surrounding areas

Peeps didn’t make it to Kroger’s list of the five best-selling Easter candies in Indiana and the surrounding area this year.

Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs emerged as the top-selling Easter candy at Kroger’s central division locations, comprising grocery stores, pharmacies, and gas stations across Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, and Ohio, as mentioned in a press release.

Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs outperformed popular Easter candies such as Cadbury Mini Eggs, Lindt Milk Chocolate Bunnies, Easter-themed M&Ms, and Cadbury Crème Eggs.

Kroger introduces an exclusive new flavor of Peeps called Sour Strawberry, which is now available for purchase. Although it didn’t make it to the top five, Peeps fans can still enjoy this exciting and unique flavor at Kroger.

According to Eric Halvorson, Manager of Corporate Affairs for Kroger Central Division, Hoosiers have an exceptional taste for candy during the Easter season. He mentioned that Kroger is prepared to cater to everyone’s preferences by offering affordable holiday meal staples, everyday low prices, and savings on candy and gifts. The aim is to make the day extra special and delightful for all.

Hoosiers can find not only the best-selling candies but also a wide range of Easter essentials, including egg decorating kits, egg hunting buckets, and gift cards.
